Certifications
Snow and Son's Landscaping is proud to be part of PLANET, an organization that was created when the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) and the Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA) joined together. PLANET has taken an active roll in bringing professionalism and more eduaction to the landscaping industry. They offer some of the leading certification tests in all aspects of the landscape industry.We currently have one employee who has become a Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) and two more who are in the process of becoming CLP's. We also have an employee who will be taking the Certified Turfgrass Professional - Cool Season Lawns (CTP-CSL) within the next year. We feel that by having our employees go through this education and becoming certified we can better serve all of our customers with more knowledge and a better understanding of our industry. We also have three employees who have their pesticide licenses and several years of experience using these licenses. We are also planning on having one or two more employees get their pesticide license within the next year or two.
